Dr Young Yu graduated in 2003 from UNSW with class 1 honours he completed cardiology training at St George and Prince of Wales hospital. Dr Yu honed his skills in complex and challenging stenting cases at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in Boston.

Dr Yu speaks English and Mandarin.

Areas of Sub-Specialty/Special Interests:

• Interest in innovative stent technology. Presently he is involved in the first Australian clinical experience of a new heart failure medicine with the potential to significantly improve patient symptoms and prognosis.
