Dr Sacha Kepreotis is an Australian board-certified Interventional and General Cardiologist with Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. After completing his cardiology training, Dr Kepreotis undertook additional sub-specialty training in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and stent implantation at St George Hospital in Sydney. He was then selected for the highly competitive Australia and New Zealand Endovascular Therapies (ANZET) fellowship program, going on to complete high-volume sub-specialty training at the Leeds General Infirmary, one of the busiest emergency PCI centres in the UK as well as a leading centre globally for the treatment of complex coronary disease including chronic total occlusions. His procedural expertise includes advanced techniques in the assessment and treatment of complex coronary artery disease using state-of-the-art technologies.

Dr Kepreotis has a passion for both clinical medicine and medical research. His training includes a Master’s Degree in Public Health, as well as a Research Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Mt Sinai Hospital in New York with numerous publications pioneering various aspects of gene therapy in heart failure. Dr Kepreotis remains active in contemporary research and is committed to ongoing medical education as a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.

His career highlights to date include working alongside world-renowned faculty and presenting his work at leading international conferences with multiple publications in prominent peer-reviewed journals. In recognition of his work, Dr Kepreotis was awarded the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Trainee Research Prize for Excellence in the Field of Adult Medicine.
