Dr Ee-May Chia is one of the leading female cardiologists in Sydney and NSW. She has been on the forefront of cardiac failure, pulmonary hypertension, right heart function, and cardiac imaging.

Dr Chia trained with the leading experts in cardiac echocardiography in Westmead and Liverpool Hospitals. She then trained in cardiac MRI in the UK, and established the cardiac MRI service at St George Private. The new cardiac MRI service at St George Public Hospital has also been established with her.

Dr Chia is considered an expert in clinical cardiology, and her skills and opinions in cardiac imaging of all modalities have been sought by many other cardiologists in the area.

Dr Chia has practices in Hurstville and Miranda and is fluent in English and Cantonese.

In addition to this Dr Chia is staff Specialist in Cardiology, St George Public Hospital, Sydney specialising in Cardiac Imaging - Echocardiography and Cardiac MRI.

Dr Chia completed a Non-Invasive Cardiology Imaging Fellowship at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney; North Tyneside and Freeman Hospitals, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

She is currently completing ongoing research/PhD in Echocardiography through Liverpool Hospital and The University of NSW.
