Visiting Hours
We appreciate that the support of family and loved ones is part of the healing process. Please ensure you follow the Visitor guidelines and instructions from our staff.
Please check the details below for Visiting Hours, as times may vary for different departments. Also note that in areas of the hospital where our patients are at a higher risk or receiving higher levels of care, there may be additional restrictions and precautions required.
Plan your visit
Thank you for helping us create a calm, supportive environment for patients to rest and recover. To support their comfort, please keep visits short, keep noise to a minimum, always supervise children and limit visits to two visitors at a time. For everyone’s safety, please do not visit if you’re feeling unwell or have an infectious illness, including cold and flu symptoms, vomiting or diarrhoea. These illnesses can spread quickly through the hospital and may put patients, visitors, volunteers and staff at risk.
Visiting Hours
Medical/Surgical Ward and Critical Care Unit (CCU)
- Visiting hours are between 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 8pm
- Maximum of 4 visitors permitted
ICU
- Visiting hours are between 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 8pm
- Maximum of 2 visitors permitted
Maternity
Postnatal Unit
- Visiting hours are between 10am to 12pm and 5pm to 7pm ONLY
- Maximum of FOUR (4) visitors permitted
- Swapping of support people not permitted
Delivery Suite
- Restricted to TWO support people only during labour
- Swapping of support people not permitted
Special Care Nursery
- Restricted to parents of newborn only
To ensure the safety of our patients and staff we ask that you do not attend our hospital;
- If you are suffering from any flu-like symptoms
- Have tested positive to COVID-19 in the last 5 days
