Administration Officer

Your new role as an Administration Officer
Being an experienced Administrator you will provide high level administrative support to patients and members of Hurstville Private’s primary care team. Your role can be either full time or part time within the Administration team, and will showcase your excellent customer service whilst incorporating your attention to detail.
Some of your work-day will require you to greet and direct hospital visitors, admit Day Surgery and Ward patients, prepare documentation including patient medical records, patient bookings, and liaise with other members of a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Criteria
- Exceptional collaborative Interpersonal, leadership and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal customer service
- Experience with computerised reporting systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Commitment to Professional Development and a structured learning program
- Immunisation evidence (including full Covid vaccination and Influenza)
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in a health care setting
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicare MBS item numbers
- Knowledge and understanding of Patient Management Systems including WebPAS
