Dr Norbert Doeuk is an Australian board-certified specialist urological surgeon with extensive experience in the field of advanced minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of cancer and other general urological conditions. He graduated from the University of Queensland, and also completed a Masters of Surgery (Urology) at the University of Sydney.

He is a Visiting Medical Specialist (VMO) at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, The Mater Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital, and Hurstville Private Hospital.

He also holds a public hospital appointment in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District and provides an outreach service to the Central West.

Dr Doeuk is one of very few urologists in Sydney with a full, dedicated, overseas Robotic Uro-oncology Fellowship. He was awarded a travel grant and was selected to undertake extensive training at the prestigious Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, the highest volume robotic centre in the UK and the first and only Robotic Surgery Institute in the UK formally recognised by the Vattikuti Foundation. He has been involved in over 700 robotic cases so far, the majority being prostate operations, but also including bladder and kidney surgery.

Dr Doeuk was invited to perform prostate cancer surgery broadcasted live around the globe at the World Robotic Surgical Event 2015 and is now closely involved in the education and training of new robotic surgeons at a national level.
