After obtaining her Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland, she undertook specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Townsville Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and The Canterbury Hospital.
Dr Ding has been active in obstetrical & gynaecological research and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sydney for research into the placental pathology. She is married with two children and enjoys music, reading and travelling.
