Direct Access Medical Admissions
Our Direct Access Medical Admissions offer direct access for patients requiring medical admission, without the long waiting times in public hospital emergency rooms. A GP Referral is required.
With our Direct Access Medical Admissions Program, patients are managed in our private Medical Ward by a General Physician, with a multi-disciplinary approach to their care.
Treatment Options

- Wound management (IV antibiotics, dressings)
- UTI
- Ulcers & cellulitis
- Dehydration
- Gout
- Investigation of shortness of breath
- Pneumonia
- Anaemia-Investigation
- Difficult to control Blood Pressure or Diabetes
- Recurring falls
- Parkinson's Disease
- Geriatric Syndrome
- Gait Disorders
- Closed Fractures (Upper & Lower Limb)
Referral Pathway
To access Direct Access Medical Admissions you will need a referral from your GP. We cannot accept Patients who require emergency treatment and they should be directed to the nearest emergency room.

- Monday to Friday: 7.00am - 9.00pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 7.00am - 3.30pm
