What we’re looking for We seek an experienced passionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care and Cardiac Services team. The successful clinician will provide quality patient centred care, ensuring the best possible outcomes to our patients.

As a successful applicant, you will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, and an experienced leadership team who emphasise and promote ongoing clinical education within the Critical Care Units.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Degree in nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years registered nurse experience in Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit or Coronary Care Unit
  • Knowledge in reading and diagnosing ECGs
  • Exceptional collaborative interpersonal and well-developed verbal and written skills
  • Experience with computerised reporting systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Immunization evidence (including Covid 19 vaccination + seasonal influenza)
  • Working with Children Check and current Police Check (within 3 months from date of job offer)
  • Well-developed time management skills with high degree of initiative

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in pre + post interventional cardiology
  • Experience in Intensive Care or High Dependency Unit
  • Post graduate qualifications cardiovascular / critical care or working towards
  • Membership of relevant professional organisation
