Assistants in Nursing
About the Role: Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, this role will work within our busy Surgical and Medical Units. This exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated Assistants in Nursing, with exceptional time management and clinical skills.
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance and/ or 2nd year Bachelor of Nursing, with minimum 12 months experience in a health care facility
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles of adult learning
- Highly developed verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate within a multi-disciplinary team
- Basic computer literacy
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Previous Assistant in Nursing experience

Cardiac Catheter Lab
About the Role:
An opportunity is available for highly motivated and suitably qualified Nurses to be part of our Cath Lab team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced team providing procedures including interventional pain management, coronary angiography, PCI, Electrophysiology and device implantation. The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality patient care and provide support and education to patients and their families.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Sound clinical skills in the area of Cardiology
- Willingness to cross train in different CCL procedures & roles: Scrub, Scout, haemodynamic monitoring and Recovery.
- Strong focus and commitment to quality patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills
- Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement process
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Ability to participate in on-call roster
- Current ALS certificate or willingness to undertake
- Up to date Immunisations as health care worker (including COVID-19)
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous Cardiac Catheter Lab, Critical Care, or Anaesthetic nursing experience desirable
