What we’re looking for

Are you an enthusiastic Radiographer ready to be a part of our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Hurstville Private Hospital? As a successful candidate, you will play a vital role in providing high level Cath Lab Radiography services whilst working alongside a dedicated team of professionals. Our experienced Cardiologists perform procedures that include; Coronary Angiography, PCI, ASD, PFO LAA closures, device implantations and Electrophysiology studies.

Being part of the Cath Lab team means you will work with Cardiac Nurses who value professional development, commitment to excellence in patient care and will appreciate your contributions. You will be supported by the Cath Lab Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialists and an experienced Leadership Team who emphasise and promote ongoing education in all hospital Units.

Ideally you will have the following;

Essential Criteria

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Radiographer
  • Current EPA Radiation license
  • Sound knowledge of ALARA
  • Experience in haemodynamic monitoring or willingness to learn
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Radiographer in both the Hospital inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Exceptional collaborative Interpersonal, leadership and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient centred care
  • Evidence of participating in the National Standards and policies
  • Experience with computerised reporting systems
  • Commitment to Professional Development and a structured learning program for all staff

Desirable Criteria

  • Membership of relevant professional organisation
  • Experience as a Radiographer in a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and human resources management principles
