Meet our team here at Hurstville. This month with feature one of our Clinical Nurse Specialist's Christine Manjonjori. Christine has shared her story of how she begun her nursing career and details her achievements along the way.
Where did you complete your training?
I completed my training at City University, School of Nursing in London.
What year did you start your nursing career?
I started my nursing career in England in 2003.
What hospitals have you worked at?
After finishing my Diploma in Nursing I worked in London before relocating to Australia in 2006. For the first 4 years in Australia I worked as an Agency nurse at St Vincent Private hospital and St George Private hospital.
What year did you commence employment at Hurstville Private Hospital?
I started working at Hurstville Private as an Agency nurse in 2008 and full time in 2010.
Why did you choose to become a nurse?
Nursing gave me the opportunity to help and make a difference in peoples’ lives and also the flexibility of working anywhere in the world.
Provide us a highlight in your career that you would like to share?
My passion is clinical teaching and helping nurture and develop the next generation into the best, caring, professional group of nurses has been the highlight of my career.
